Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders employment services

Specialised employment services and job support for First Nations peoples.

CoAct helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers find and keep meaningful employment

We support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to find work through a wide range of specialised employment services.

For over a decade, we’ve partnered with local Indigenous organisations across Australia to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people find sustainable employment by providing:

  • A friendly, local team that takes the time to get to know the unique needs, goals, skills, and experience of each person they work with.
  • A personalised job plan and the right mentoring, training, and wrap-around support services to help put it into action.
  • Job search guidance and help with an effective resume, tailored cover letters, and interviews.
  • Access to Campus, CoAct’s online customer portal packed with job search tools and resources.
  • Assistance to access funding that can help prepare people with disability to get “job-ready” and start work with workwear, transport, tools, equipment, and updated skills and the confidence that comes with them.
  • Ongoing support after employment.
