At CoAct, we recognise the unique strengths and challenges of neurodivergent job seekers. As a leading not-for-profit employment services provider, we offer free and tailored support to empower neurodiverse job seekers through government-funded programs such as Workforce Australia, Workforce Australia – Transition to Work, and Disability Employment Services (DES).
We support many neurodiverse and neuro-different individuals, including job seekers with:

- Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Supporting neurodiversity through Disability Employment Services (DES)
Our specialised DES program for neurodiverse individuals goes beyond traditional employment support. Our team will work with you one-on-one to understand your specific needs, preferences, and employment goals. Through targeted training, mentorship, and ongoing support, we aim to empower you to navigate the job market confidently. From interview preparation to workplace integration, our goal is to ensure a smooth and successful transition into meaningful employment.

About Disability Employment Services (DES)
How we help you achieve your employment goals
Disability Employment Services (also known as DES) helps people living with disability, mental health conditions, treated illness or injury find work and stay employed. It’s a government program and we’re one of Australia’s leading DES providers.
Am I eligible for Disability Employment Services?
- living with a disability, mental health condition, treated illness or injury that makes it difficult to find and keep a job. This includes living with anxiety or depression, neurodivergence including ADHD and autism, a physical or intellectual disability, learning difficulties, visual or hearing impairment.
- an Australian citizen or hold a permanent resident, or on a Temporary Protection, Special Category or Safe Haven Visa.
- aged between 14 and 67.
- able to work at least 8 hours per week and no more than 30.
- are receiving an income support payment.

If you identify as being neurodivergent or having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ASA can help you use your unique skills and interests to provide you with a geospatial and/or digital engineering career. No previous experience is required as ASA provides on-the-job training.
