Long term unemployed
Helping you get back into work after long term unemployment
Long term unemployment is when people have been out of work for an extended period, typically over 12 months. Prolonged unemployment and joblessness can create unique challenges, affecting a job seeker’s confidence, well-being, and overall sense of purpose.
The effects of long term unemployment extend beyond financial strain. Individuals may experience a decline in self-esteem, increased stress, and a sense of isolation. The job search process can become increasingly daunting, leading to a cycle that hampers one’s ability to secure meaningful employment.
