Our specialist employment support consultants understand multiple sclerosis and other degenerative neurological disorders, and this specialist advice is what makes our service so unique. We understand that some symptoms seem invisible to others but can make working difficult and we have several strategies for coping with these impacts.
Ultimately, we want to empower you to take control of your working life and this service has helped thousands of people living with multiple sclerosis or neurological conditions to either stay in their current job or to find new employment to suit their needs.

How we can support you
Am I eligible for Employment Services?
You may be eligible for Disability Employment Services (DES) if you are:
- living with a disability, mental health condition, treated illness or injury that makes it difficult to find and keep a job.
- an Australian citizen or hold a permanent resident, or on a Temporary Protection, Special Category or Safe Haven Visa.
- aged between 14 and 67.
- able to work at least 8 hours per week and no more than 30.
- are receiving an income support payment.
You may be eligible for Work Assist if you are:
- having difficulty at work or at risk of losing your job due to a diagnosed disability, injury or health condition.
- currently employed, working at least 8 hours a week for the last 13 consecutive weeks.
- an Australian resident or temporary protection visa holder.
- not studying full-time.
- between 14 and 67 years of age.

MS Queensland
MS Queensland is a registered non-profit organisation that is the first choice for MS information, education, treatment, care and support across Queensland. Founded in 1974, their vision is a world free from multiple sclerosis (MS) and its devastating impact. They exist to help people living with MS to get the best out of life, to advocate for change and to search for a cure.
MS Plus
MS Plus is one of Australia’s leading sources of information, advice and support services for people living with MS and other neurological conditions. As one of Australia’s leading not-for-profits, they also work tirelessly to fund research into the causes and treatments for MS and ultimately a cure. MS Plus support people with multiple sclerosis and other acquired neurological conditions in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT.
MSWA
MSWA is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the wellbeing and quality of life for people living with neurological conditions. They support people with multiple sclerosis and other acquired neurological conditions in Western Australia.
