Youth employment

If you're aged 15 to 24 and looking for help to find work or continue studying, we can help. Our youth employment programs give you specialist support that’s tailored to your needs and goals. We connect you with the services you need, find training and education opportunities and stay by your side to help you apply, score a job and settle in.

Workforce Australia – Transition to Work

The Transition to Work employment service is delivered through Workforce Australia. It helps you build the skills, confidence and experience you need to reach your goals.

First up, we match you with a Mentor who stays by your side throughout your journey back to work. We then set goals and put together a plan. This may include personal and professional development and financial assistance.

You’ll also have access to an online employment hub and our employer and community connections.

Youth Jobs PaTH

This program gives you the opportunity to trial working for a business before you commit to a job. Gain valuable experience, show your commitment and get to know an employer.

On the other side, an employer also gets the opportunity to get to know you. This helps them understand where you’d shine in the business and how they can support you the best.

More than just jobs

All of our programs support the whole you.

We listen first, to understand you. Together we identify your challenges, talents and opportunities. Once we have a plan in place, we connect you with the support you need to get work ready. We can co-ordinate specialist services for housing, health, counselling, and family support. We’ll chat these through when the time is right.
