Simon Brown
CEO – Chief Executive Officer
Simon is an accomplished senior executive with over 20 years’ leadership experience in private, public and not-for-profit sectors. He has extensive experience in strategic and operational management across Australia and New Zealand, with a strong focus on growth, business improvement and new business implementation. Simon is highly skilled in managing customer-focussed services, especially building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. After joining CoAct in 2015 (known then as Job Futures) as the General Manager of Operations, Simon was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer in 2018. Simon led the network through exceptional improvements in the quality and value of the supports we offer our Service Partners to help secure meaningful employment to the disadvantaged – a cause Simon has always been passionate about and advocated for. Simon was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer in August 2022.
Kirsten Ibbotson
General Manager, Customer and Brand
Kirsten brings her extensive experience in marketing, innovation and passion for positive social change to CoAct. She has studied innovation at Stanford University and holds an MBA and Bachelor of Business. Kirsten has 8 years’ experience working in social innovation and designing programs to deliver social outcomes for Australia’s most disadvantaged. She also holds 10 years’ experience in senior marketing management, which has been gained working in Europe and Australia across both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.
Michael Willett
General Manager ‑ Digital Transformation, Governance & Assurance
Michael has extensive corporate services experience, both within the for-purpose and the commercial sectors with a focus on driving excellence and great customer experiences. Michael has 5 years’+ experience working in the technology space as well as many years of experience managing Governance and Assurance, Finance, business analytics, human resources and property and a demonstrated ability to communicate and engage across all levels of an organisation to facilitate change.
Michael holds an MBA from the University of Sydney / University of NSW.
