Project Manager – Operations, Full time – Brisbane, QLD

We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Project Manager with extensive experience in Employment Services, particularly in Disability Employment Services. If you thrive on tackling diverse tasks and excel with a proactive, go-getter attitude, this is the role for you!

A little about the role…

As a vital member of our team, you’ll be at the forefront of implementing and maintaining processes that drive our project success. You’ll manage project scope, quality, and performance standards with a keen eye on compliance with employment services regulations.

In this dynamic role, you’ll coordinate and oversee multiple projects, ensuring they not only meet but exceed employment service goals and standards. Your ability to develop strong partnerships with external stakeholders will be key in driving exceptional project outcomes.

You’ll have the opportunity to actively engage with stakeholders across the operations team and the CoAct network, fostering collaboration and clear communication to ensure project goals are met. Leading the charge on operational changes – whether it’s contract novations, service partner transitions, or process improvements – will be where you truly shine.

But that’s not all! You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and propelling future projects in the disability space, Workforce Australia, and Transition to Work (TtW). Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring these initiatives are successful and aligned with our ambitious goals.

And throughout it all, you’ll keep our project stakeholders informed and aligned, ensuring they are always up-to-date on delivery timelines, scope, and budget requirements.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • Strong financial and budget management skills with a proven track record
  • Excellent risk management abilities, anticipating and resolving issues
  • Experience in team management, with a talent for leading and motivating teams
  • Effective communication skills, capable of simplifying complex issues and engaging stakeholders
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating with various stakeholders
  • Extensive experience in Employment Services (especially Disability Employment Services), including expertise in requirements gathering and process mapping
  • In-depth knowledge of employment services regulations and compliance requirements
