What Awaits You
As our Management Accountant, you will support senior business managers with critical decision-making, prepare financial reports for business units, and develop and implement strategies to reduce operational and production costs.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce and present annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and forward-year cash projections
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and compliant financial records
- Conduct annual PBI reviews and update on changes
- Evaluate financial information for business improvement and efficiency
- Analyse key financial data and produce reports for senior management
- Perform quarterly financial health checks on sub-contractors and evaluate annual financial results
- Allocate corporate overheads to business units and assist senior leaders in analysing month-end results
- Forecast financial trends for senior leaders
- Produce benchmarking reports with insights for service partners
- Generate value reports and allocate surpluses to service partners
Location: Sydney or Remote (occasional office visits may be required)
What You Will Bring
- Strong interpersonal skills with the drive and capacity to communicate to all stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
- Proven ability to verify information for accuracy and relevance
- Good time management skills and ability to work within deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Able to work autonomously with the ability to effectively prioritise
- Ability to develop and review processes for improvement
Value-Added Experience and Qualifications
- Accounting degree
- CPA or CA qualification
- Ability to apply Australian Accounting standards
- 3 + years working experience as an Accountant
- Demonstrated working knowledge of commercial accounting principles and Australian Accounting Standards
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
