Workforce Australia

Our Workforce Australia job search support is individualised and intensive.

The right job starts with the right connections

Connect to mentors, training, workshops and local jobs through CoAct Connect and Workforce Australia.

Workforce Australia is a government program that helps people receiving income support to find work and stay employed.

CoAct Connect is a leading not-for-profit Workforce Australia provider (formerly jobactive). We’ve provided tailored, intensive support to over 45,000 people on their journey to work.

You’re unique, so we make sure our support is too. With flexible servicing, local expertise and strong community connections, we’re ready to help you find a job you enjoy and want to stay in

  • We start by listening: Your story matters to us, and we’ll always ensure you feel heard, comfortable and supported.
  • A tailored plan: We’ll unpack your skills, strengths, challenges, and training needs to create a job plan. Together, we set goals to work towards, so you succeed.
  • Train up: Sign up for training and connect to Campus, our online employment hub for job tools, local insights, and resources.
  • Holistic support: If you need other support, we can coordinate specialist services. Connect to allied health, mental health support, housing, rehabilitation, care services, and more.
  • Build your worth: Boost your employability with our personal development workshops.
  • Find the right job: Use our online tools, along with the support of your Mentor, to research, prepare, and apply.
  • Get work-ready: Access funding for tools, training, licenses, workwear and more. Feel confident on your first day.
  • Ongoing support to thrive: Once you’re in work, we’ll continue to support you for the next six months.
