Apprenticeships & traineeships

Apprenticeships and traineeships are a great way for you to become qualified and get on job the experience to help get you into work sooner.

Australian Apprenticeship Support Network provider

CoAct plays a key role in supporting people into apprenticeships and traineeships across Western Australia. In collaboration with CoAct Service Partner, BUSY At Work, The Apprenticeship Community is a trusted Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) provider working to connect and support employers and new and existing apprentices/trainees.

The Apprenticeship Community connects job seekers in Perth and across Western Australia with fully accredited workplace apprenticeships and traineeships that get you into meaningful work sooner.

Flexible training options

You can undertake an apprenticeship as a school leaver, if you’re re-entering the workforce or if you’re an adult looking for a career change. You can even begin an apprenticeship or traineeship while finishing secondary school under a school-based arrangement. Choose to study full-time, part-time, or a combination of both.

Support tailored to your needs

The Apprenticeship Community works to ensure you have all the support you need on your journey as an apprentice or trainee.

From preparing you for your first day through to securing meaningful employment, we provide support tailored to your needs. We also:

  • Liaise with your new employer
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring
  • Check on your progress regularly
  • Offer advice on available financial assistance
  • Assist you if your circumstances change
  • Provide post-apprenticeship or traineeship support

Nationally recognised qualifications

It’s important to know that whether you choose to complete an apprenticeship or traineeship, both give you a nationally recognised qualification. The benefit of this is that you could apply for similar work anywhere in Australia.
