Alex, Support Coordination Manager & Recovery Coach (Brisbane — in person + telehealth)

Alex has more than a decade of experience across the NDIS and disability sector, in roles that have covered direct support, early intervention, local area coordination, support coordination, access management, clinical consulting, management, training and development, and co-founding a disability technology company. She is also qualified to deliver psychosocial recovery coaching through CoAct. She knows this sector well, from the frontline through to leadership, and she brings that breadth of experience to everything she does.
What has stayed constant across all of it is how much she cares. Alex is passionate about making sure people have the information they need, in a way that actually makes sense to them, so they can make genuinely informed decisions about their own lives. She believes that understanding is where confidence begins, and that confidence is where real independence and capacity start to grow. That belief sits at the heart of everything she does, whether she is working directly alongside a participant and their family, providing support coordination or recovery coaching, supporting a clinician to ensure evidence is clear and consistent, or working with the team around her.
Alex is also a mum to Ethan, who is 12 and has a number of diagnoses and support needs. Having navigated the NDIS personally, as well as professionally, she understands firsthand what it means to be on the other side of the system, and the difference that genuinely person centred support can make.
